Dearest in Christ,

Greetings you in the name of Jesus Christ,

I would like to draw your attention towards "Thar".

Thar is a Desert located in Sindh Province/state this desert has significant place in many respects. It is located near Indian border. It's neglected area of  Sindh state. It's economics depends upon Rain. Where people till now cover mile's distance by foot/walk. Beheel ,Marwari and Cohelee communities living in Thar Desert . who  have been living more than century  still there is no relief for them suffering, hardships and poverty is following by generation to generation.

Religious Background:

Religious background is a multi faith community primitive religions, Hindu religion, Islam and other shrine worship etc.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

This area is very un lucky in education because here mostly people are Poor and illiterate and they spend their life without getting education the dearth of adequate facilities due to poorness they are not able to send their children to schools to provide basic literacy education for poor Presently there is no educational opportunity for these children and have no opportunity to have good education. Unity In Christ Ministry wants educating to the grass roots communities.

Health:

There is the dearth of basics necessities of life. People drink polluted water that even animal drink and woman go far to fetch water very hardly.

Due to lack of Medical facilities the ratio of T.B and skin problems is very high.

There are 2500 villages and there is no operation theater, due to this lot of people are dying and mostly children/new born babies as well as pregnant woman are dying.

There life standard is very low and they are spending their lives under below poverty line some time they are not able to have two times food/meal.

With regret we are sharing this that the only faith is lacking in that particular area is Christianity. This region is still un-evangelized but Lord has opened door for Unity in Christ Ministry for the proclamation of his word through the people of Thar in spite of obstacles which have been hindering our evangelistic work for the people of Thar. We want to fulfills Great Commission of Lord Jesus Christ we choice to reach un-reach.

We recognize that by running these two projects we can win souls

1. Education    2. Basic heath Project

With these two Projects we can enter in peoples what a pity we have Co-worker but we don't have resources to extend our work but what we can do we are doing for his kingdom.

Unity in Christ Ministry wants to have hospital or small heath center so we can communicate with the people as well we can share gospel among them through this channel we need place to start this Project so pray for us.

In spite of obstacles which have been hindering our evangelistic work for the people of Thar. Lord has provided us the opportunity takes his word and love them, some people has been blessed by his love by accepting him has their Lord & saviour. Ever since than these new convert has been facing persecution which resulted in many aspects such as lost of jobs ,discriminately attitude from near and dear one and from others as well and many others un pleasant thing they have to go through once they accept Jesus Christ in their lives.

These people are considered and had been expelled from their communities now they are at the mercy of no one since than people has approached us some how through some one and Lord has guided us to helped them out in their ordeal but one thing is very encouraging to learn from them is that they are firmed in their Christian faith. They told us in our recent meeting that they want to win the entire desert for the saviour.

These people need to be strengthen at any cost. There are lack of schools medical facilities and other necessities of life.

We must penetrate in that un-evangelized region by the help of converts with the gospel of Jesus Christ and must demonstrate his love by providing them relief like food, clothes, medicines and other basic necessities of daily life.

We must begin from little and place every thing in the hands of our saviour who had commissioned us to proclaim his word and love to all.

He will guide us and provide us through his people who are concern for the perishing souls and to play their due roles in fulfilling the great commission. He will open their hearts and mind for this purpose.
